Ein Doktorand des DFDK, Michael Mailfert, hat 2018 einen “Contrat doctoral” erhalten

Michael Mailfert, Mitglied des DFDK-MIAG, hat im Oktober 2018 einen Doktoranden-Arbeitsvertrag von der Universität Straßburg erhalten.

Im September 2017 hatte er eine Masterarbeit über: „Les pratiques magiques et leur représentation dans un contexte chrétien (IVe-Ve siècles) / Magische Praktiken und ihre Darstellung in christlichem Kontext (4.-5. Jh.)“ (Jury: Eckhard Wirbelauer, Betreuer, und Jean-Marie Husser) an der Université de Strasbourg vorgelegt. Diese Arbeit wurde im Rahmen des Trinationalen Masters Altertumswissenschaften der Universitäten Straßburg, Freiburg im Br. und Basel abgeschlossen.

In Straßburg ist er Mitglied der UMR 7044-Archimède und arbeitet  an einer Dissertation zum Thema „Panem, circenses… et thermas ? Une histoire sociale des bains à Rome (IIe s. av. J.-C. – IVe s. ap. J.-C.)“ unter gemeinsamer Leitung von Eckhard Wirbelauer (Straßburg) und Thomas Morard (Liège).
