Ein Doktorand des TGK, Thomas Fischbach, hat 2015 einen „Contrat doctoral“ erhalten

Thomas Fischbach, Mitglied des Trinationalen Graduierten Kollegs FISA MIAG, hat September 2015 einen französischen Doktoranden-Arbeitsvertrag erworben („contrat doctoral fléché du Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale“).

2010 hat er eine Masterarbeit über „L’armement et les guerriers de la nécropole mérovingienne d’Erstein (VI-VIIe siècles). Typochronologie et statuts sociaux“ vorgelegt (Jury: Jean-Jacques Schwien, Betreuer, Françoise Passard-Urlacher, Jean-Yves Marc, Anne-Marie Adam).

Nachdem er fünf Jahren in der archäologischen Notausgrabung arbeitete, beginnt er heute eine Dissertation zum Thema  „Les garnitures de ceinture du haut Moyen-âge (Ve-Xe siècles) en contexte funéraire en Alsace et dans le Pays de Bade“ unter gemeinsamer Leitung von Eckhard Wirbelauer (Straßburg) und Sebastian Brather (Freiburg).

Thomas Fischbach ist Mitglied des Labors UMR 7044-Archimède (Straßburg) und des Instituts für Ur- und Frühgeschichtliche Archäologie/Archäologie des Mittelalters (Freiburg).
